For me it is amusing that US administration and White House most likely initiated coup in Turkey against Erdogan but nobody in the USA has made any effort to explain the situation and even mainstream American massmedia were silent about things which really happend in Turkey.

It is a mystery what Obama and Clinton tried to do in Turkey. Few months ago Turkish airforces shot down Russian bomber. Turkey and Russia were in the state of cold war. Turkey has its own interests in Syria and Erdogan did show that there will be no peace in Syria if Turkish interests will be not respected by both USA and Russia which both tried to make deal without recognising Turkish interests and without participation of Turkey.
In such cicrumestances US administration decided to support or even to initiate the military coup against legal democratic Turkish goverment. The coup ended in complete disaster and remaining insurgents did hide in US base in Incirlik. Americans did show that they are not neutral but support the rebels and want to evacuate them from Turkey.

In this way US administration has antagonised its most important and most powerful ally in the middle east. When Erdogan noticed that USA is against him and violated soveregnity of his country, he didnt hesitate to swallow his pride, he has apologised Putin and Russia inspite of the fact that Turkish interests are in conflict with Russia and now he is closer to Russia than to USA.

Obama and Clinton almost provoked the fight between American troops in Turkey and its Turkish NATO allies.

But media in the west were completely silent about it.

Is Incirlik Air Base being held hostage by Turkey?

In addition to the blockade,Turkish politicians loyal to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have publicly expressed concerns that U.S. officials used Incirlik Air Base to assist Friday’s military coup.

Debkafile reported Wednesday that Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim publicly insinuated that Americans may be viewed as partners, at least passive ones, in the conspiracy, in view of the use the plotters made of Incirlik for sending aircraft based there and arming them for the missions of intercepting the President’s airplane (which was never realized) and bombing the Parliament building in Ankara (which was).

http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2016/07/huge-happenings-in-turkey-2nd-coup-in-the-works-or-pre-emptive-action-by-erdogan-3392793.html

As TMR initially reported right after the first coup attempt, not only will this story NOT go away, it will only get bigger. There is no geopolitical event in 2016, with the exception of BREXIT, that even comes close to the far-reaching ramifications of the U.S.-sponsored coup d’état in Turkey. Because of the sheer depth and breadth of the betrayal of Turkey by the U.S. military and NATO, it will be virtually impossible to repair the damage … as long as President Erdoğan is in power.

In view of the current deteriorating state of affairs, the USA will continue to respond in such a manner so as to galvanize another coup attempt. It appears that one may have just been tried. Such desperation reflects the fact that Incirlik Air Base “houses between 50 and 90 US tactical nuclear weapons”.

The preceding highly inconvenient factoid is undoubtedly driving the US CENTCOM (and NATO) absolutely crazy. What could be more scary to the USA & Company than a Turkey ruled by Erdoğan which has taken possession of such a large nuclear arsenal?!

Not only that, but the stakes are made even higher because of the extremely strategic and tactical role that Incirlik Air Base plays in the fake war on ISIS. Much more importantly, however, is the critical location that Incirlik Air Base occupies on NATO’s southeastern flank. Without it, NATO is highly exposed to all sorts of military threats, both real and perceived.

What also appears to be at the crux of the coup staged by the CIA, MI6 and MOSSAD is that Erdoğan’s Turkey was no longer seen as a reliable partner-in-crime (especially war crimes). Once he made up with President Vladimir Putin himself, Turkey was blacklisted for a coup, which is exactly what happened. Washington, London and Tel Aviv wasted no time in launching the ill-fated coup in spite of the fatally flawed execution plan and the fact that it had been uncovered — in all of its fine details — by Russia.

Why did the Anglo-American Axis (AAA)* even decide to proceed with a coup that was certain to fail … miserably? That question will soon be answered by game-changing events which are soon to unfold throughout the Mideast geopolitical chessboard.

US Hints Turkey Might Be Expelled From NATO Over Crackdown on Coup Members

Putin’s Russia is, right now, quite busy working behind the scenes rearranging the entire chessboard now that the world community of nations has seen the Russian armed forces rule the Northern Levant with unanticipated military prowess and political control.

The AAA lead nations no longer have any credibility anywhere in the Middle East now that the whole world knows that a Zio-Anglo-American conspiracy funded, armed and materially supported the creation of the Islamic State. When the true notion that C.I.A. = ISIS is in the minds of every Mideast leader, what good can come from further collaboration with the treacherous AAA leadership? Likewise, when every act of war-profiteering with ISIL was exposed by Erdoğan’s Turkey, the AAA’s main partner in the unprovoked war of aggression across the Northern Levant, who would ever trust Washington or London or Tel Aviv again?

By the way, has ISIS ever threatened their supposed arch-enemy Israel?! Why has the DAESH leadership stayed away from attacking all the US-controlled areas and oil assets, but permitted to uninterruptedly pump oil all day long in those safe areas right up to the present?!

Posted below is a good update on the second shutdown of Incirlik Air Base this month. Sure does sound like there’s some serious trouble in paradise for the U.S. overseers and NATO commanders.

Its not a news anymore. It happend long time ago. Mainstream media were silent about it, especialy in the USA. The fact that your liberal american media didnt inform you about it, doesnt mean it didnt happend.

Dont let your media manipulate you like in good old Soviet Union. Do you belive that if somthing wasnt reported by your media it means that it didnt happend? We dont talk here about somthing what is right now going on but about somthing that happend but you had no idea about it.

I remember when I was watching CNN and other american news that time, they only said that nuclear weapons were evacuated from Turkey and nothing more, without any explanation.

http://themillenniumreport.com/2016/07/1500-soldiers-under-seige-us-defense-sec-too-expensive-to-evacuate-incirlik/

By George Eaton

The massive story that everyone should be focused on is the exposure of the fact that the Turkish government has gathered evidence that The US government, the CIA, the US military and NATO were involved with the coup attempt. This is a huge story and will be extremely embarrassing for the US government. It will affect the membership of Turkey in NATO.

The troops at the US base in Incirlik are at the highest alert. They are unable to leave the base because the Turkish government has shut down all gates to the bases and are not allowing anyone in or out of the base. They have also shut down the electricity to the base. There are at least 50, and possibly up to 90 nuclear weapons on the base. No one knows if the Turkish army will try to attack the base, or if that happens if the US government will intervene. It is a very precarious situation and there are few easy options out of this mess. This may precipitate a global financial and economy disruption in the next few weeks.

To make matters worse Russia and Putin have reached out to Turkey, and Erdogan has responded very favorably. The relations between those two countries were at the worst they have been in years, and now it has suddenly reversed itself. Erdogan is acting as if he is the good guy now and has seen the error in his ways and will now take another course. This is how he is trying to survive. He was caught months ago with trafficking stolen oil from Syria to the tune of $ billions. The Russians exposed that plot, bombed all the truck routes, and as far as I know there are no more trucks with oil going to Turkey, and the oil wells have been recaptured by Syria.

The main issue at this time that everyone should be concerned about is the safety of our troops on the bases in Turkey. The US government is no doubt in some kind of negotiations with Turkey at this time for the safety of our troops so they can evacuate. This has deteriorated to a point that even having them remain, or NATO being in Turkey is out of the question. Turkish troops have the bases surrounded, along with thousands of Turkish citizens watching and protesting the presence of US forces in Turkey. Nearly 300 Turkish citizens died in this coup attempt, they are enraged and wanting revenge.

The ongoing information coming from Turkey is coming in hot and heavy right now. It is difficult to get good, accurate reports, but so far we are seeing the big view of what is going on. It appears that this is a repeat of the Benghazi tragedy. 1,500 US soldiers are being held in a base. They are running out of food. The electricity has been cut off. I have read real reports from relatives of the soldiers describing the situation, and how they are suffering without air conditioning. They have kicked out windows and doors to ventilation. Many of the troops have cut back to one meal a day to make the food last as long as possible. When the officers on the base asked the defense department for help to evacuate or be rescued they were told by Ash Carter that “It is too expensive”. Obama is denying any US involvement in the coup, but the evidence reveals the opposite is true. The players in this coup have been identified and the ones in Turkey have been arrested. They are probably now singing like a bird and detailing how they were bribed to take part in the coup. One researcher actual discovered a secret twitter account that was used by the plotters. In that account they discovered an emblem that was connected with NATO. This was described in a video. Along with the information Turkey has on the coup plot – that is the smoking gun evidence. I will send out more information as it comes available. By the way, a person that had all the phone numbers on the base tried for hours recently and was unable to get an answer.

Erdogan has been playing a game of musical chairs from the second he got into power and has been courted by the Russians. Why else didn't the Russians even utter anything disparaging about Turkey and suggest reprisals after Turkey brought down one of their aircraft?

You dont have to belive me. Just make use of your own brain and try to add 2 + 2.

Im not even sure what are you questioning. The fact that there was coup in Turkey? The fact that Turkish army besieged US base in Incirlik?
The fact that after the coup Turkey which was in the state of cold war with Russia (after shooting down their bomber) did burry the hatchet and started cooperating with Putin? That rebels did hide in US base? That US airforce in panic evacuated nukes to base in Romania? That Turkey accused USA for siding with the rebels? Which of those facts are you questioning?

Because Turkish Navy is the strongest navy in Black Sea and because Turkish state got army of 700.000 well equiped and combat ready soldiers. Thats way more than Russia has right now.

https://www.euractiv.com/section/global-europe/news/us-moves-nuclear-weapons-from-turkey-to-romania/

EXCLUSIVE/ Two independent sources told EurActiv.com that the US has started transferring nuclear weapons stationed in Turkey to Romania, against the background of worsening relations between Washington and Ankara.

According to one of the sources, the transfer has been very challenging in technical and political terms.

“It’s not easy to move 20+ nukes,” said the source, on conditions of anonymity.

According to a recent report by the Simson Center, since the Cold War, some 50 US tactical nuclear weapons have been stationed at Turkey’s Incirlik air base, approximately 100 kilometres from the Syrian border.

During the failed coup in Turkey in July, Incirlik’s power was cut, and the Turkish government prohibited US aircraft from flying in or out. Eventually, the base commander was arrested and implicated in the coup. Whether the US could have maintained control of the weapons in the event of a protracted civil conflict in Turkey is an unanswerable question, the report says.

Another source told EurActiv.com that the US-Turkey relations had deteriorated so much following the coup that Washington no longer trusted Ankara to host the weapons. The American weapons are being moved to the Deveselu air base in Romania, the source said.

That hasn't stopped Russia's rhetoric with anyone else, and that doesn't explain why Turkey is getting close with Russia.

Putin desperately needs allies. And USA by supporting rebels in Turkey gave him incredible opportunity to make Turkey his ally. Most likely short time ally because Turkish interests in Syria are opposite to Russian interests but it is stupidity of US administration that led to this exotic alliance.

Apperantly Turks don't know value of Trump

As you said, this exotic alliance has short term life.

also Turkey-USA relation can't be as strong as France-USA relation because of own natural structure.

It looks like that even Australians were better informed than Americans:

http://www.news.com.au/world/reports-turkish-troops-have-sealed-off-incirlik-usnato-nuclear-air-base/news-story/4d7bb16e4e86842218b5b0d7d70f582b

TURKISH citizens and police have ‘surrounded’ the Incirlik air base it operates with the United States — and where a large stockpile of NATO nuclear weapons is held — ahead of a visit by a senior US official tomorrow.

Reports out of Turkey suggest all entrances to the air base have been blocked by heavy vehicles and police sent to secure its peremiter.

The unusual nigh-time move sparked rumours of a second coup attempt on Turkish social media, with concerned citizens rushing to the air base to join the blockade.

The move comes less than a week after a top US Army general was accused by Turkish media of ‘leading’ the uprising against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier this month.

All millitary based blocked during that period. It is not about just Incirlik also there are many other turkish military base which were blocked a couple of weeks, especially in Istanbul.

Incirlik closed for the flight just for one day, but extraordinary positions went on other bases

It was somthing without precedence. In the US base were hiding under American protection rebel Turkish commanders. US base was besieged by local forces in the allied NATO state. US troops were left without electricity, food, water and other sources. American commander recived ultimatum from Turkish goverment. In fact there are rumours that Turkish army threatened Americans that Turkish troops will take the base by force if Americans refuse to give them the rebels. Americans in panic were evacuating nuclear warheads to base in Romania. And finally Turkish goverment accused USA for taking active part in the rebellion or even for initiating it.

The most funny thing is that those events were not in news in the USA. Finaly when it was obvious that coup has failed, Obama came out and declared that he gives full support to Erdogan.

Right now Russia has so many problems that cant even swallow and digest Crimean penisula. Turkey and Russia have no disputes about territory. Looks like USA did make his Turkish ally, the second strongest army in NATO and main player in the middle east, hostile to itself.

Its like a movie senario. Hollywood can go on this.

Electricity, yes. But food, water? There is too much drama in that, isn't it? The base stayed just one day close for flights. I don't think, they suffered

Not like they wanted Kars region before. There are just a few acts which someone can own or loose Turkey.

Example, even after end of plane crisis between Turkey&Russia. Normal leader doesn't talk about Crimea just after startting good relations with Russia again. But Erdoğan made a speech about how Ukraine right.

If Russia as did now, presses Crimea Tatars, looses Turkey or makes an offer and lets the Tatar who lived before 1945, come to Crimea. gains Turkey

If Russia supports Armenia in Caucaus crisis, loose Turkey. If he supports Azerbaijcan, gains Turkey.

If Russia gives clear sign about he is against Syrian Kurd, he gains Turkey or if he supports them, he looses Turkey.

There is no move for Turkey in the middle east. Each chess piece is protecting with something, so Turkey can't eat something.

So far I see, after over 100 years Turkey raised to the status of regional power. It is no longer the vassal state of USA but conducts its own international policy which serves only Turkish interests and both USA and Russia are forced by Erdogan to respect those Turkish interests.
