I have graduated from university, now I work as a stock trader and investor,

strangly, I have a strong feeling of loneliness ,people say that all city residents would have such feeling, but if you live at countryside, you will not , because countryside has a better and closer social relation among people

Do you feel loneliness when you leave university and go out to work at the society?

I was class of 1971 So some things were different. But yes, I felt very alone. I had left a very close knit Center City community I had lived in for four years.

I moved out to a fringe suburb, I didn't know a soul. Looking back, I never really adjusted to that environment.

I also missed being able to jump on a Trolley and being 10-15 mins. from the Museums. Or going many places easily vs a private car.

I was to busy going back into the force as a new Second Lieutenant.

Didn't have time. If I'm lonely now it's probably self induced. And if ya aint careful that can become a disease of the mind known as depression. Which is never good.

If ya lonely, FIGHT thru it. Stay as active as possible, interact with others even more, if only casual.

But never forget to be alone on occasion does not mean one is lonely.

It is in those moments...high up on a slope or deep in the canyon country with nought but nature and my skills am I the closest to GOD.

And that too is good.

amen.
