I share with you the history of the medium bomber built by the Douglas should replace a company's success, the B-18 Bolo, but eventually supplanted by its competitors. Does anyone know if the plane came into action during WW2? If so, how was your performance? In the link below you will find a fantastic collection of photos, some of them rare and colorful this amazing bomber.

Yes and no.
Iit was the mainstay bomber during the events of Pearl Harbor and the actions in the Phillipines during the very earl stage of WW2. Matter of fact most were destroyed.

It had 3 main variants the A/B/C. None were considered great performers even in a medium bomber role. Issues included: speed; maximum bomb load capacity and defensive capabilities.

It saw better service by the Americans and Canadians as a anti submarine warfare patrol platform. And later as a primary training and secondary light transport role.

Iirc, it was also used in limited numbers by the AF of Brazil.
