The attack on Charlie Hebdo is an attack on Freedom of thought, speech and expression.  I personally do not approve of everything they printed.  However it's impossible to discuss anything re inappropriate articles and cartoons as long as "the gun is on the table". 

I will not allow any discussion of that kind as long as the threat of death is there. Take the gun off the table first, and then discuss.

These people are dissaffected Lunatics.  The police officer that they executed on the sidewalk was a muslim. They have done more damage to their own cause than could be done by anyone else.

The fear of reprisals is so strong that the Mosque down the street from me has canceled all activities including worship meetings.

Agree or disagree with Charlie Hebdo, isn't the point. Their right to express their ideas is.

neither do I approve of all expressions-ideologies or political systems...certainly not a picture of a crucifix in a glass of piss...or similar.

if they come they will come because Islamists refuse to disavow, in the majority, these 'lunatics'...and because whether the west will accept it or not... the reality remains... that this nascent political ideology-agenda of wacko Islamo fundos... is based in Islam, as a theology. In concert with a rejection of western ideals and anti christianity and antiSemitism.

therefor the responsibility remains with the non wacko Islamists to do something about it...and not expect sympathy from the likes of me...until they do.

for if they don't... they remain tied to these 8th ce barbarians 'hip and thigh'
