There are same website caches which we can use to recover some of our old topics. Please list the topics (with such details as the topic title, nicks of posting members, key words)  you see as valuable and  worth to be recovered..

Some topics are listed on our main page - the list  (in some chapters) was made by Dawn and Khakhan however not all of them could be recovered..

The question is how to proceed with this problem..My idea is first to list all the valuable topic remebered by members  (divided by subforums as you propose) and then to give the links to the cached posts..the authors of the initial post should in this case be able to repost it...

So you went through and tried to recover the ones that were listed on the main page. When Kha khan and I did those we went through every thread and listed anything that had info usefull to research papers ect.

I have on my computer several essy type post that I copied the whole post and stored it for latter converson to articles. Do you want these? they list the thread author etc. and the info. 

 General info. on chinese warfare by warhead

bio on Sun Significant figures in china from before the    by warhead

Chinese intervention in vietanese war of 1789 by YanWang

Plus a few more and a few files of what we called snippets. bits of info copied from the thread and then all saved in one file.

Ok thats all I can find  other than the lists of threads that (I think) Kha khan had on the main site. If those are of use just yell. and I will look through my hard drive and see if I have anything else hiding.
