gomesh teppe the shadow of past

gomesh or kumesh means silver and teppe means hill kumesh teppe means sliver hill one of the last places which remind the turkmens  from their past kumesh teppe located on northest part of iran just few km from turkmenistan border  it was port town and it was there we build  ship and basagha on caspian sea  until end of basmanche the town burned by russians and it's people fled to alborz mountain by order of reza khan the population of kumesh teppe forced to make new town on better road and with railway and he named king's port but to day it's known as turkmen's port (bandar e torkmen )

in iranian Constitutional Revolution turkmens was both friend and enemy to Constitutionalists the mohamad ali shah qajar come to kumesh teppe to ask turkmen's help to defeat Constitutionalists stay some few days there  since than kumesh teppe become part of iran's history

making turkmen's port start race between kumesh teppe and new port . turkmen's port was on road and have railway and it was new build port so it don't pay tax and use modern Shipping while gomesh teppe was ruind town  and use tradition shipbuilding and   have to pay tax the winner was turkmen's port in the end turkmen tradition shipbuilder Bankrupt and leave kumesh teppe to join turkmen's port
