I have friends that live and breathe in the soil
Feeding on the moisture that is sown
In the fabric that the grass roots weave
Every night and every day - to keep
The earthly skin from falling in threads -
Someone has to give it strength -
The grass does that without wanting reward -
Just like that.
And when all is falling apart
I remember then the cradle in the night -
Woven from lost caresses that grass left after her -
Like air hug, remembrance silent but so lasting -
And barefoot I step in her - unabashed -
I sink in her, I bathe in her memory untied
And I can rest, and I can slip out of my mind.

And when the grass is there not for me to wait
My memory will suffice - of better days -
My fingers growing roots - so deep and dark
My fingers are the grass itself - roots in my mind -
My fingers reach and reach again - in moisture rich
My fingers grow into the soil to give me power -
My wounds to stitch.
I'm bathing in the potion that Earth boiled for me
So cure my disease and soothe my spirit,
And as my skin is rolling in green waves
My skin is feeding on the purity of nature
That human children all forgot about
While running after their dreams and shouts.

I'm rolling slowly onto lush pasture green -
My friends who breathe in the soil are holding me
In thousand hands and thousand caresses -
Such unrestrained abandon unexpected -
No right or wrong, no blame or expectations -
Just earthly-tasting resurrecting fornication.
Like Proteus, I draw my strength from earth -
After my fall - in her - I seek rebirth.

Winter Sonnet

Winter - blisters on the glass - kisses of the wind
Staying like remembrances of past summer wishes
Staying like thoughts of horses that anymore can't run
Blazing like scars on souls that with grief are stunned-
Like evidences of sorrows that cannot be healed,

Like stab wounds in the flesh - even to be seen
That will never come together, never for delight -
Blisters, blisters on the glass - crystals, beauty scarred -
A perfection, simple, pure, so ephemeral -
Only deeply felt can make something so fragile.

Beauty is result of suffering, a product of pain -
And like blisters on the window it will melt away.

I didn't find a blog option here, so I decided to make a thread with my poems, where I'm going to post them as they come, the old ones with their respective dates. Please, keep in mind that they are not personal. Feedback is welcomeSmile.

Fires

Fires burning in my Dreams -
Fires unremembered
Screaming behind closed eyelids
Lightnings in September

So close and so far away
Mirage amidst Dunes
So well-known and so new
Like forgotten Tune,

Iron-heavy, like a Gun
Dangerous like Crime
And desired like a Trip
In unknown Realm

And so fleeting - flock of Birds
Melting in my mind...
I remember only Words -
Falling to the ground.

Oceans

I've got oceans under my skin
Salty and wavy and deep and moving
Whirlwatering and waterstreaming
Through the periscopes of my eyes
Through the caves of my surface
Unsettled waters, wild waters
Bright waters, white waters
Pulling in dark waters
Surfacing stark waters
Bubbling under my skin
Turning to wherein
Carrying me on their foam
Thrusting me - mighty and roaming
My surface is a bridge over them
My surface is a leave carried by them
I've got oceans under my skin
Splashing and dashing going and lashing
Taking me where I wouldn't dare
Swirling and churning,
Clashing and stirring
My ocean surging -
The blood of my soul yearning.

This poem is based on a mythical creature in the Slavic mythology, called "Poludnica" /the accent falls on the second syllable/ - this is a female image, mostly coming as a beautiful young woman dressed in white, who walks around the fields during the hottest time of the summer day and assailing the workers causing then a sun stroke.

Etymologically the name comes from the Russian word "polden", in Bulgarian "pladne", Ukrainian "poluden", Serbian and Croatian "podne", Slovene "opoldne". However, the word "lud", /if we isolate only the second syllable/ means in Bulgarian, Croatian and Serbian "crazy" /both as in "crazy" and as in "mad"/, even though in Russian is "sumashedshiy", in Ukrainian "bojevilniy", in slovakian "shaleniy". Poludnica is hence connected with madness, causing madness in people she encounters during high noon.

This wiki article calles her a demon, with which I disagree, since the image is pre-Christian, and IMHO obviously connected with natural force that is human-ized to reflect older world-view in which nature is personified. She is female, as nature tends to be perceived in ancient mythopoetics, and would possibly see her as a aspect of the Mother Goddess, who is responsible both for life and death - here in one of her chtonic aspects. Sher is a lonely creature /unlike the "samodivi", other female mythical creatures found in the Balkans, who move always in groups and whom I see as a transferred in time cultural memory of the Greek and Thracian Orphism and the maenads of the Dyonisian cult/, which makes me see her as a aspect of one divinity, rather than a memory of priestly caste.

High noon. My bones cleave heavy to the ground
My skin is hot, my dress blazing white-hot, white-hot madness
Poludnica is in me. Poludnica is me. Poludnica I am. I am Poludnica. Lady Maddness.
Walking barefoot among high golden wheat
My shadow is flame, my hair is fire.
Poludnica. I'll have you before high noon is over.
I walk among golden wheat, caressing every stalk
Golden grains are rolling under my fingertips
Wheat stalks are slipping down my skin
I'm searching for you among the golden wheat
I'll have you before high noon is over.
My hair is kissing the golden grains, melting them
Molten gold drops loaded on my knees
My feet are swimming in molten gold
Dancing, swimming, churning, floating on golden waves
You'll have me before high noon is over. Poludnica.
Waves of gold, golden gold, red gold, red Russian gold
Gold going in red, reddish gold, bloody gold, golden blood. Poludnica.
You'll have me before high noon is over.
I'm laying on a bed of golden sheaves
My clothes burn out - ash on the golden wheat
My skin caressing the molten gold
Golden blood in the corner of my mouth
Poludnica - I am Poludnica.
I'm having you before the high noon is over
My eyes are turquoises in a see on molten gold
I'm having you in my eyes.
Poludnica - you had me before high noon is over. Forever.
I'm molted gold sinking in the ground.
My turquoises are left on the ground to look at you.

Poludnica. She had me before high noon is over.

Orgy my mind in a backward swoon
Whose perpetuallity jabs bone to bone
I'm drunk with moonlight and liquid stone
The green hair of Earth hugs my hands and soles - pale-pink moles
Busy raping the soil to root me in deep, in it a feed
Entomb my pelvis in the air, nail it on a hawk's stare
Stab the clouds with my knees, extracting arrows of light
My body is a rainbow - bow the rain on me.

To put me together you have to take me apart
Eye by eye - put them on the table with their pupils frozen in their open wombs;
Ear by ear - unwind them and hang them on the trees so they listen to their own chime;
Un-paste my lips - burning petals of flesh, put them on the ground, let then burn through it's core;
Lay my fingers on the soil - with roots and leaves they will adore themselves;
Attach my arms to the clouds - wings on the wind;
Let my feet go and measure the waist of Earth before they come back to you;
Post my knees -stakes for your tent;
Plant my thighs around you to withhold me cavernous self -

Take me apart while wild mints breath their souls in the hot summer air
And pine needles rain over and caresses the skin on the Earth
Take me apart to know me in the breeze that kisses the leaves of my skin

Take me apart to know me, put me together to stop me
Before I take you apart limb by limb, eye by eye, finger by finger
And plant you in the wind
Put me together to stop me from sowing you in the clouds.

Put me together to stop me then.
But now - take me apart to have me.
Now.

Turmoiled Nights

I had this sense of dismemberment - night after night
When the time is not going nor staying - fight after fight
Fight after fight and in bearing - wound for wound
Not counting more, nor remembering - down the road.

Running in the night and mist and cold - my hair blowing
My arms - wings to be taken and to be stolen
My legs and knees to be broken, down the road
And in the trance of remembrance - are to be known.

Tell to my night, my blown heart, tell to my night,
That my days is so blasted and out of heart
Out of heart and and hope, of day and of sun,
But I have anger in my nails, like when I just begun.

Tell to my night, to my naked one, tell to my torn one,
That in the hours to come I will not mourn
But I will give it my worst one, and my best hit -
Tell to my night, if you dare to - give it my writ!

Black Me Out

Black me out to save my mind
While my afternoon is screaming
Blind and random, swirling, twisting,
Seeing stars behind the clouds

Swirling colors that rebound
Switching colors that are brooding
Into sounds what are moving
Tight into vibrations looming

Black me out, save my mind
Twist my twist and take my charge
Black me out in midst black night
Till black-lust is satisfied.

Beast me out - cries the forest
Crying, freezing frozen tears
Skeletal branches the trees bear
Stiff like a stiffen corpse's stare.

I bit my lip - blood on the dead snow
Blood is alive , painful and hot
Contrasting, deathly, sarcastically old
Blood is alive, deafeningly bold

Red-evoking, life-promoting
I evoke you - get me rolling
Melt the snow, heat the frost
My fingers are candles, glow in the dark

Glow and spill droplets of sparks
As they slide down my skin
To lead you in -
Beast me out howls the forest

Howls, begs, convulses out
In her frozen deaden self
Echo bears the the howls tortured
Dreaming being summer orchard

In the winter of my death
Beast me out, make me spent.

Wind is sweeping out the night
Licking it from the frozen air
Erasing the darkness from the sky
Light towards me directs it's stare

To find me sleepless yet again
Wide open eyes behind the shut eyelids
And fingers grasping the emptiness
Nails scratching time, opening slits

Between the minutes, slipping my fingers
Through them, tearing the fabric of time
To dig a window to another time
With heavy hands and bold

Thighs that know how to hold
Skin glistening, flickering light
Hundreds of irridescent flames
Screaming palms - like heated pads

Frenzying their way on arched spines
Broken moments, images uprooted
Streaming through, and screaming muted
Through the galvanized space -

Something to fear and hunger to face -
Rounded lips and tensed to pain face.
Windows in the dark, white nights -
White nights of  my times.

Ring the body of my bell - make my soul sound
My questions slumber it - waiting to be found,
Under my surface in me deep - the folders on my brain
Swinging in the life-giving force that's churning through my veins.

I'm swooning heavy - with a wave, heavy with desire
Splitting like a smoldered log thrown in the fire
Fire - fire I became, dangerous and greedy
Greedy to consume itself with vibrations seedy.

Ring me, make me lose myself - time out of time
Matter out of matter, lose me,
Ring that soul of mine
Till the time forget itself
And space cave within
And reality is gutted, my nerves in funnel spin

Funnel - that is to swallow you and me in it
For a minute and a era make me through you breath.

My voice is coming to me strange
Rolling at me, howling like wolves
Deeply tearing in my flesh
My voice - the sound of my soul
Raspy and stark - heavy like a stone
Like a snowball - rolling and engrossing itself
Strange voice that comes from my depths
Beast's voice - dragging on my surface

Hold me, hold me now, hold me on the edge of me
As the waves of you run in circles, concentrated
Where the light disappears, where the space bends
Hold me on the edge on me - now.

I'm so addicted, addicted to music and you
Your body sweeping, your body sweeping me through
The rhythm is taking, the rhythm is taking me up
Your rams are swinging, your eyes lifting me up

You swirl me and twirl me over the shimmering floor
My feet are swimming, swimming to meet you alone
It is so addictive, the more done, the more it is sweet
And you and the music make for a wonderful treat.

A Legend of Dying

And this was death, I didn't recognized him
I mistook him for a  lover in the night
He came upon me softly with palms of velvet
To cover my unearthed greedy bite

He put his palms upon my creaming mouth
And pressed them down in my gaping throat
A penetration that doesn't bring blackout
But smothers, kills with cuddle and a rot.

And he was death - I realized too late
When my things were tired of convulsing
When my back was slowly let down
On the sheets - on coffin, not in urging

And when I saw that he was death disguising
It was too late already to recoil
So with the trust of one last time denial
I let him on, before he killed my voice.

But he was death, I didn't recognize him
I took him in - in me to breed remorse
Among the all diffusions and illusions
Amongst my ashed memories and thorns

In me he layed, bone into bone collapsing
Flesh into flesh, and spasm into spasm
Under my skin, in my very soul raptured
In em he layed, intertwined in me

And if you look in my pupils widened
Somewhere in you'll see him yet to be
If you look now, before the coffin closes
For he was death, I didn't recognize him.

Winter Fugue

Don't keep me up all night, my soul, don't keep me up all night
Under the breeze and falling snow my hands for you do part
My lips for you do part, my soul, in the most welcomed night
The most welcome night is laying silent at my  thighs
Lying silent, like a grave steeping itself in me
In me, so I become the night layering in me
Layering in me like waves and sediments of touch
Like sediments of touch that weigh and vibrate so much
Vibrating, like a falling snow, like water spurn
In the middle of the tine, and so it makes it run
Running like a steam from hot pot, and like smoke from fire
Like a moan from open lips rounded with desire
But don't keep me up all night steaming and obsolete
For the time is rather melting on my fallen gates.

On Being Born

My Luger is about to give birth -
It's womb is ready to engrave itself
On a 9 millimeter baby - out of it's cave
It's about this runner to forshoot
In the world of life astute
In which the only guarantee is fall
Which would require so mush toil
And it's plated with so much randomness
Without no way to guess
What is coming from behind -
Pleasure, pain, defeat or gain,
Tension, victory, or strain.

I kiss my 9 one goodbye
And send it out - out to remain
To hit it's target or to fall in vain.

My fingers locked on you so I can withstand the blow
So I can withstand you standing and stand my ground
When the ground is moving, shaking, trembling and groaning
Bending under your steps bursting through me.
My fingers locked on you so I can respond to -mute -
According to the First Law on Newton -
My fingers grasping till Sedition, till breaking, cracking, making
I fist, making a drum, thumping a thump, keeping a rhythm
Blind rhythm that comes ferocious, atrocious, with no precautions
Blind -roped and responding
My fingers locked on you - wanting.

Enter the chaos - enter the chaos in me
Where all paths bring to tension
With no consolation, no cancellations, only extension
Brewing it in.

Enter the chaos, enter the room
Where the doom weaves on a loom seedy connection
With no protection - it's only direction -
In the flaming pool

Of me. Take it or leave it.
In courting disaster I'm being a master -
Dreamer myself - speeding it faster
In the Kingdom of broken Words.

Enter my chaos - if you dare.

Be my wind, my time and pass through me
Carrying leaves and twigs, and screams
Of torn apart lives, blown and torn
Destructive and telling - ruins and all.

Sweep around me. and make it so
Past-Present and Future in one big swirl to go
Kisses and bullets given and taken
Dreams halfway dreamed before being awaken

Sweep it all make it one wild whirlwind
With no distinction, no beginning and end
Only raw happening, only swift hit,
So I remember it on my dry skin.
