We played with Ihsan over the net. He had chosen the Mongolians and I had chosen the Spanish. The game in total took 56 Hours. We played for 8 days and finally I won the game. It was pretty cool. We played in Japan and the region around Northern Japan became a no mans land with a couple of walls guarding opposing cities. Some good casulties came in I guess....

Remember those good old days, Ihsan?

You mean the Sea of Japan map? How the hell did it take that long to play. Let alone the fact that the trees should have clear cut after 2 days of play, it's such an open map you'ld think someone would get the upper hand sooner than that.

We played with Alper(Kapikulu) and he beated me in 30 minutes.

I was Spanish and he was Saracen. He used his camels' attack bonus against my Conquistadors and Paladins and his  few zealots killed my huge army!

u guys play random or deathmatch?  Deathmatch is more down to business.  I always used to try to build up too much in random and end up getting rushed by 40 horse scouts so I gave up and the fast lane in Deathmatch, they are the best, legendary battles with fully advanced armies.

Any of you still play the original (or I should get my hands on the expansion again soon). I wouldn't mind playing you
