The largest military castle in Iran is Rukhan Castle in the north of the country, this one thousand years old castle occupies an area of about 5 hectares (50,000 square meters) and sits at the two peaks of a mountain, and is fortified by strong fortifications and battlements at a length of 1,550 meters.

Well, the largest here is probably an old hill fort from the 3rd century AD, Torsburgen, Thor's fort, on Gotland. It lied on the top of a flat hill, had 2km long walls, covers about 1,2 square kilometers and was surrounded on three sides by up to 30m high cliffs. It is mentioned in the part of the Gutasaga which tells of a third of all the Gutar leaving the island and going to Byzantium.

Nothing left but rubble from the walls, highest parts 7 m.

How about the Masada? Not really a castle, but a fortress.

It you consider Carcassonne is a castle, it would be the biggest of France.

But talking stricly of castles. I think Chinon got them all (in France).

Maybe Caesarea.. it should have been quite big and it is more a fortress than a castle but still.

Actually, the castle/citadel of Malbork is pretty small... I don't belive it to be over a 1sqkm...

That castle is actually described always larger as it is.

Very few, if no castle are that size. The 1+sqkm thing I posted was a hill fort and technically not a castle. Marienburg is four times larger than the castle Cyrus posted, for example.
