Alas the article does not yet specify an actual type as I might discern.
As noted, it was sail bearing tho no definitive description of the keel was noted. Sails it is believed were first introduced, in the region, as noted in the article. But at this point unknown as to it's type per se. Possibly a long ship (given the prescence of warriors and nobles) or possibly a Knarr. Both had been in use in the region.
We will have to wait for continuing research.
