ANCIENT WEST AFRICAN KINGDOMS: AN OVERVIEW

It is what it states and I provide it to you.. to hopefully stimulate interests in research in these rarely reviewed ancient kingdoms. Often times the concentration is soley Egypt but there is much more then that.Wink

CV, in both of the sources you displayed above, it seems there was no mention of "Salt" and salt trade mentioned nor is slave trade mentioned.

In the second site, there is little mention or no mention on the map of many empires that existed in North and North West Africal, except for Egypt and Carthage.

This also seems strange.

Apt points. As both slavery and salt are very ancient trades and sources of commerce. As to the maps; these sites are going to provide basics in overview and as noted promote interest in research and for those interested.... it is merely a internet away for more resources reference African cultural studies.
