For Oregon I offer Wayne Morse. He can be summed up with these words, "principle above politics."
During the Vietnam era, he was the legislator who opposed the ruling that allowed to us to go war without declaring war. He stay with principles even though this meant loosing elections. He also argued that our constitution should be used as our compass. I love a man of principle.
