In the west of Iran, near the Iraq border, there is a large ancient rectangular building (about 70m by 50m) with several corridors which is called Zij-e-Manijeh "Observatory of Manijeh" (According to Shahnameh, Manijeh was the daughter of Afrasiab, the king of Turan).
