It has been mentioned in several sources, for example as you read here: http://www.archive.org/stream/cu31924031223005/cu31924031223005_djvu.txt "The presence of a considerable colony of Persians in Spain in the time of the Moors is attested by a document assigning the town Rioja to the Persians as their place of residence." Is there more info about it? especially about the history of this town? |
