Hey all, A little help here would be appreciated! I am researching a question for an upcoming test, and I cannot find the answer in my textbook, nor looking through the internet for any close answer, its as follows.
"List and explain the eight regions of the world prior to 1500, what they are and what the expression is".
Help is greatly appreciated, looking forward to any answers.
It is really difficult to explaine the situation of the south, west and central Asia in 1500 AD, before the foundation of the Safavid empire in 1501 AD and Mughal empire in 1526 AD, Shah Ismail, the founder of Safavid empire of Persia, was just 12 years old and was conquering the lands, and Babur, the founder of Mughal empire of India, was 15 years old and was conquering the lands in the Central Asia!! Timurids were ruling Afghanistan, Afghans were in India, Uzbeks came to power and conquered some lands, like modern Turkmenistan, and Turkmens were in the northwest of Iran, modern Azerbaijan, Armenia, Eastern Turkey and Iraq and had established two empires there, ...
