I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.
 
Hi, my name is Nickmard . I am half Persian and half kiwi (New Zealander) , I live in London.
 
I would just like to say that I am very glad that I found this site and forum, a place where I can have intelligent conversations with like minded individuals.
 
I am a photographer by training, I try to combine my photographic skills with my passion for history. Please if you have time visit my flickr page www.flickr.com/photos/nickmard
 
I am primarily interested in the history of mesopotamia and the near east and heavily in the pre-islamic persian dyansties of Iran (Achaemenid, Parthian and Sassanian). I hope to return to New Zealand in 2010 to study Archaeology, and hope to one day specialize in these ancient Iranian fields.
