This battle took place on August of 1115. The Jurchen ruler, Taizu, proclaimed himself Emperor of China, and founded the Jin Dynasty.

After conquering the city of Huanglongfu, he mustered a force of 20,000 Jurchen calveryman, and marched fourth to face the gigantic 700,000 strong army of the Liao Dynasty, the previous dynasty.

Taizu's calvery force of 20,000 destroyed the Liao army. Then marched on to complete the conquest of the Liadong Peninsula, capturing all 5 of Liao China's capitals.

I am in need of more information about this great battle, as they are hard to find. How did he do it?
