Hey all,

I need information of authenticity of Chinese classical texts.  1)  How historically accurate are the 24 histories?  2)  How authentic are the various archeologically excavated classical texts, such as those from the Guodian tombs and the Han tombs?

Peace,

Michael

I suggest you post your question in China History Forum where you probably might find more people to answer your question

To answer your question,

1. 24 chinese history classics are accurate. I haven't read all of them, but they are important sources for information much researched by experts of chinee hisotry.

2. Those excavated classical texts remain to be investigated by experts. They revealed alot about the ancient han dynasty social history.
