Chinese scholoar Zhu hong's study on ancient Shang state's nobles and civilians, shows us that the common civilians are racially similar to modern eastern asians(Chinese, Koreans and Japanese) while nobles was racially similar to both modern eastern asians and northern(or Siberian) asians(Mongols, Buryats, and most of Siberian groups).
Xianbei, Khitans and Mongols racially belonged to Northern or Siberian asians of Mongoloid race. Usually, people think the first nomad's conquest dynasty in China is Toba Xianbei's Wei dynasty, however, if Shang nobles were partly Siberian asians, Shang dynasty seems another ancient conquest dynasty of proto-Mongols in China, at least, it was similar to Tang's royal family that descended from both Xianbei and Chinese.

Yes, Shang Dynasty was built by northeastern tribe.
According to one very famous Chinese history book, Shang dynasty is dynasty of Dongyi(We North-East Asian used to call ourselves Dongyi) and Chu dynasty which destroyed Shang was a vassal of Shang Dynasty : Shang was a son of Heaven(Sky) according to North-eastern term, which means the greatest people in the world.
The book says : a vassal of Shang dared to rebel against a Son of Heaven(Shang). : there is a very famous old story about two scholars, relating to this history part.
Chu dynasty is known to be the first dynasty from which Han chinese started to have their own identity as han Chinese(actually they were called Xia before han dynasty). This means Chu dynasty was built based on Shang dynaty's civilization including culture and language characters.
Tang, also, is another north east Asian dynasty. I think the greatest influence on Han-China are from Shang and Tang.
The most reliable remains of ancient East Asain language characters (for Korea, Japan and China) are found in the territory of Shang dynasty and that's why we north east people claim that the characters are not created by Han-Chinese but by our own ancestors.
