I use to be a decent clarinet player, but had to quit some years ago now. Also I play a very poor piano.
Hopefully within the next year, or two at most, I'll be able to start taking lessons in the violin and eventually guitar and piano as well. I have a piano at home thats pretty much unused, (at least by me) 5 violins and a guitar. It would be nice to actually take advantage of those just lying around, (not like they're stradivarius' or anything but still) right now I'm semi-seriously taking basic guitar lessons from an online website, its actually been pretty useful. Learning all the scales and such.

I have a collection of funky folk instruments at home. I play them all poorly, but I have a lot of fun doing so I have a dulcimer, a home made banjo, two guitars, a ukulele, tin whistles, a harmonica, and a violin.
The guitars and violin can't be used right now because my son, a future musician, will not let go of them once he sees them. I would let him play with them, but he is too careless and I am afraid that he will damage them. :)

Keyboard/synth (also I had a horn synth but it's broken )
But I'd rather arrange/compose than play. I've done a few background music things for the theatre, the most interesting maybe doing a score for Antigone, trying to emulate what Greek instruments would have sounded like.

I used to use Cubase a lot, but I've been using Magix Studio 7 of late.

@ Balaam. The Kazoo... Seems like the last time I saw or heard one of those was when my favorite musician was Raffi.

Badmail (inclination?), you certainly are a one man band. I've dabbled with the trumpet and cornet for a few years in elementary and junior high. Though I love music I haven't picked up any other instruments over the years. If I were to choose I'd go with the bass guitar.
