Dang. You have been one busy bee.
I am sure many of those articles were carry overs from the previoius generations of AE. Perhaps Professor rider could weave his magic.

Some types of articles don't need referencing per se. My Tollund Man article had sources, but a certain Rider removed them

The article on the First Punic War (by me) was written about two years ago, if I remember correctly. The main source is Adrian Goldworthy's The Punic Wars, with references from Polybius and Livy (I mainly checked Goldworthy's sources). No sources were included because originally I planned to finish all three Punic Wars, but I never did.

I didn't. And you can readd them.
I'll add sources to my articles as soon as someone pulls off a thorough list. I always forget to add the sources after writing one.

The account 'Jonathan Finegold' seems to have been created by default, and I don't have a password for it. Anyway that I can get access?

There doesn't appear to be any user profile "Jonathan Finegold". Just register again, and if you register with the name Jonathan Finegold, the three articles by you will be attributed to you, and you would be able to edit them.etc. However, if you want a different username, sign up with that and let me know what it is, so I can change the author name of those three articles for you.

Maybe we can have a special section of unsourced works?

I think what would be even better is a comment selection underneath each article in the manner of DeviantArt.com, so that the articles can be given helpful comments and analysis.

Good idea. I've always wondered who from the external community reads my articles, and what they think of them.

Knights, you missed out on what Catalan asked.
The answer is that there's no such account as 'Jonathan Finegold', the author's name and an account aren't connected. For you to be able to edit those articles, you have to create an account and then tell an editor that account's name so he or she can give you editorial abilities to those articles. Thanks,

The best way to do it, in my experience, is to add footnotes in your text as you write it, wherever it seems possibly neccesary, with the just very short the author and page. Seperately, keep a list of all consulted sources, or even the ones you consider using. Then later you can sort them out, fill in the full info and delete any needless or unused ones. That way you do not have to bother about going through all your sources again later to make a full list and read everything again to find the relevant passages.

Perhaps it is indeed. Currently, I can just go through the list of my articles and see which ones don't have sources and then take a random guess at which books I may have used for such a topic.

Footnotes have become my personal favorite - it directs the reader to the exact book and the exact page in the book where he can find the information.
