After a smoth tournament Afghanistan Cricket team has finaly found the path that they were looking for, a title to their name.
 
Afghanistan was able to score 151 for 9 from 20 overs while the other finalist Oman were one 150 for 7 of 19.5 overs, when the final ball was balled the bathsman missed the ball and all the suden the thrilled Afghan supporters could no more control their patience and got in to the ground to celebrate the victory.
 
On the other hand the officials declare that the title would be shared and declared Afghanistan and Oman as joint Champions (without going to a bowl out).
 
Any ways whether Champion or joint Champion, Afghans still got what they wanted and all my congrats and best wishes to them for making us proud....

Just wait until Pakistan buys them out of the market! Lol Congrats. Any fast bowlers? Ours have usually come from the Pakhtun areas any way.

Yes, yes like always.
Just yesterday while seeing Pakistan (my favorite cricket team) beating India while chassing an incredible 322, I thought that without the 4 Afghans (or you may call them Pashtuns) Shahid Afridi, Younus Khan, Umer Gul and Misbah-ul-Haq Niazi, what would Pakistan had done.
 
But youre right Pakistan as the money to buy them out but still we are fighting with out left over players and still winning.
 
We have these two strike bowlers Hamid Hasan (who has clocked 150 kph) and Shahpur Zadran (145 kph) along with a wonderful and talented batsman Mohammad Nabi (who has scored most of the runs for Afghan Team).
 
Recently we scored 356-7 from 40 overs against the English MCC and bowled them out for just 185.
 
More regarding Afghan Cricket...

That was some match. Though Misbah has got to stop playing that sweep. You can add Yasir Hameed if the selectors can ever get over the fact that h is not just a Test player.

As for the players thanks for the heads up. 150 eh? Send a e-mail to PCB right away. lol.
