neither, anyone that remains loyal to so called "principals" is a fool and should not be leading a nation, a true leader would act as both dove and hawk depending on the priorities of the situation.

I would be a hawk on steroids. I bet something like Genghis Khan or Basill II.

The following was inscribed on sword of ALi:
The hawk can not fly away with the sparrows provisions.
It amply illustrates the limitations that come along with the territory. So sometimes a sparrow can get away with what the hawk cannot.

Turkey
big, fat, skittish, awkward, coward, loud, can't fly well, crap everywhere, something hanging from the chin constantly......
I've read it somewhere that Benjamin Franklin drew a pheonix as symbol for the new nation, using some Free Mason sybolism, but everybody who saw thought that it was a turkey. So, uncle Ben decided to call it a bold headed eagle.
P.S. Hey, Malizai, I love your Kierkegaard quote.
Here's another one;
'For one does not become a Christian by means of reflection, but to become a Chritian in reflection means that there is another thing to be rejected.'
