Simple question..not so simple answer.

skill, attitude, goals, ahead of his time, pace, strength, ability, talent, the cool factor..

Who had it all??

There are some, but only three of those are a bit more outstanding.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento called Pele,

the most entire player ever.

Diego Armando Maradonna,

sadly simple structured and consulted by false friends.

Fanz Beckenbauer,

the most smart player ever.

...and there was a player, an all-out defender of a local league in west-germany in the 1970s.....

When did you become such a yankee??? Its F-ing football, not 'soccer'.

And my vote goes to a player called David Lee. Look him up on Wikipedia (Under the Irish footballer disambiguation)

Best of the last 40 years possibly. But oh to see Di Stefano, Puskas and Gento together again.[1] With Matthews in his prime to join them.

But who are you going to put in goal? Banks, no?

And what about some defence to back up Beckenbauer?

Yes, with him and Pele in the lineup together, Brazil never lost.
