Turkish people do look more Middle Eastern and anatolian than Central Asian.
Atleast that's my opinion.

They don't speak enough about the Kurds, because we have never taken hostages, never hijacked a plane. But I am proud of this.

Be sure, People will differentiate an uygur more easy than a greek or an armenian.
It is boring to discuss with you how my people look.
By the way, Noone is talking what is Turk. If you read what people wrote, noone(beylerbeyi, Feanor or me) said we are not Turk..
so thanks. You dont need to teach us our nationality.

It is not Bulldog, it is the whole rest of the world telling and ''teaching'' your nationality as long as you carry a ''Turkish'' passport in your bag when you go abroad

Turkish people look like Mediter. people...
When I go abroad, most of the time I have been mistaken for being an Italian, then Spanish...
It is undeniable that geography shapes the pyshical features

I think you are both correct. Turkish people have a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern look on the average. There are some Asiatic, Slavic features as well though.

Right, Turks evolved into what they are now in less than a thousand years.

You can interpret what I wrote in any way you wish. My argument is that as long as we carry a Turkish passport in our bags, the whole world will consider us ''Turkish''. Just like you consider French or Americans. Doing otherwise results in self-denial

It's not %100. The majority are Turkish, including me, as we consider ourselves Turkish. But there are other ethnicities as well.

You describe the whole thing as if it's like getting tanned in a holiday resort.

By the way, I came across this interesting website couple of months ago:
http://www.faceoftomorrow.com/
It doesn't have anything to do with DNA or genetics, but people who are obsessed with pictures might want to check it out.

I can't tell that by looking at their faces, but people of Istanbul have probably lighter skin tone on the average.
Here is something more accurate, I think:
Again, the Turkish one looks Mediterranean/Middle Eastern, rather than C. Asian, if you ask me.
