What in particular would you like to discuss?

We've had some threads on several of those individuals on various different topics. I do not believe we ever touched upon Otto I in detail. Definetly a good point of discussion, a very able king, the founder of modern Germany according to German intrepretations. He was able to unite under his banner the fragments of Charle's former Empire, the Western parts in particular, alongside Italy, and established the Ottonian house. His reign in my opinion secured the existence of the German/Western Empire.

From Middle Ages, some of the figures that attract me the most are:

King Arthur (the real)
Eric the Red
Leif Ericson
Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar (The Cid)
King Alphones X, the wise.
Al Kwarismi
Alhazen
Aryabatta
Roger Bacon
Middle Age Chinese scientists

In the Americas:
Nezahualcoyotl
Tupac Yupanki

And from Polynesia:
Hotu Matua (conqueror of Easter Island)

I wish to start with Roger Bacon, if somebody wants to follow
