How about including Oceania into the SE Asia and Pacific name in the regional section? By doing something like this it might bring about more discussions of Australian, New Zealand and other surrounding area's history as it will provide a clearly recognised section for members to start such discussions who are unsure of where to start them.

Better not. This forum is not big enough for us to face minority issue. Intellectuals should also consider the fear of majority tyranny. Rest assured, majority of the moderators are reasonable people. Remember, dictatorship works just fine if the dictator knows what he's doing. Moderators are capable... or so they say.
 
While democrat... I mean democracy is quite often associated with intellectuals, there are many circumstances when intellectuals are the very obstacle from democracy. Intellectuals are, after all, is the result of elitism. Democracy is to find the balance between majority contentment and perservation of elite's power.  
 
Now all moderators need is a bit more cyber-terrorists to strengthen their undisputed leadership. They let Afrocentrists and doomsayers to drop by from time to time, and some radical newcomers so that even dull-members like us understand the direction of popular discontent. Why do you think they have to list the "undesirable" members like a collection?
 
With less frequent visits from moderators, their quota are falling behind. But it's not too bad, since less members are showing up now. (Ex. Pinguin)

But feel free to create some quizzes in various subforums if you wish, assuming they are appropriate to the particular subforum (eg. Ancient Europe, Modern Culture, Modern History.etc). We used to have a 'Total Quiz' tournament 4 times annually, and I am working to get it back up and running again.
