There are several mythology threads already - usually in the area that they cover - Asian, Greco-Roman, Ancient. Comparative Mythology could fit several places - General History, Intellectual Discussions or Literature depending on how it was being approached.
I love Mythology but I don't see having a whole board - I don't think that there would be enough interest.
Achilles - if you have a discussion that you would like to open - dive right in.
In the time of your life, live - so that in that wonderous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of it. (Saroyan)
I do not see why not!!
There is a whole range of mythology from European, Asian to Native American and Australian.
Stories about the coyote are great in Native American mythos, although I am more familar with Greek and some Celtic mythology.
The salmon of wisdom is one of my favorite Irish myths.
"Ancient Civilizations" is not a very active forum, one of the reasons can be that except Mesopotamians and Egyptians, our knowledge about other nations are mostly based on mythology and not history, so maybe we can change title of this forum to "Ancient Civilizations & Mythology".
