Awesome, you are my hero for starting a topic about peregrines!
Peregrine Falcon are possibly the most wide ranging bird on the planet, and it's good to see there are some in the Netherlands too. As far as I know, most are migratory except the Australian Peregrine, which is a permanent Australian resident.
It's great to see the new life, especially in the midst of civilisation. Peregrines have taken to the urban environment better than most, and have found a niche in the urban ecosystem. In fact, in the recent breeding season down here, there was a nesting peregrine on the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!
Such amazing birds, amazing swiftness. I know of a few of these 'nest box'/nest site webcam projects - I'll see if I can find some more about this.
