Yes, Menumorut, do you have any pictures of the mid and late 20th Century? Great pictures, especially those showing the macro-progression of Bucharest.

The images above illustrates how, in the first half of 19th century, Romanians from Wallachia (and Moldavia too) passed from Oriental style of life to Occidental.
These images were about the past. I shall put next with the today Bucharest, then again with the yesterday Bucharest and so on.

A child played with fire, burned a barrel with crude oil, the house taken fire and the wind extended the desaster.

The Mosilor Market in 1869. The Mosilor Market (Targul Mosilor) was the place where the markets took place outside Bucharest since 15th century. The market was linked with the town by Mosilor Way. Today, in the place of Mosilor Market is Bucur Obor which still is the main shopping center of Bucharest, considering the largest agroalimentary market and the mall together.

A new building
Another new building near the Catholic cathedral. Catholics protested against this project, even the Pope expressed his disaproval, the Senat asqued the stop of the works but the Gouvern (Democrat Party) which is strongly mafiotized permitted to continuation of the construction
