We always put God in human mesurements... Well you've got the point here : Agnosticism seems to me to be the Middle Path, and, as saith Aristotle, "Moderation is wisdom."

Segestan has some very valid points. I've known a mystic or two in my time (wise and holy men, to say the least) who seem to have figured a way to become one with their surroundings. Some of the most tranquil people I've ever met; and I don't believe any of them were on sedatives, either!
Every man's relationship with God ought to be a personal one. Some people just listen better than others, it would seem.

All that said, I don't think God needs to actually exist as a prerequisite for faith. Faith in a non-existent God may well be more rewarding that non-belief in a God that may or may not exist. Agnosticism seems to me to be the Middle Path, and, as saith Aristotle, "Moderation is wisdom."
Plus, when I die, I don't look like an ass. If God exists and I had been having some sort of faith throughout my life, I'm sure the Big Guy Upstairs will be relatively forgiving. If not, at least I didn't put all my eggs in one basket.

God has Shown himself from the very beginning. You seem to forget God answers the needs of the soul not the body, therefore he is known to those who await the entrance to the drama of self-expression...the mortal life. The creators cannot expose themselves within the dimension of the created otherwise there is No creation. Creation is something removed from the artists.

To be blunt, nobody cares if you think the debate is pointless, show some respect to the others who have engaged in the discussion and don't post. In your absence all shall be aware of your opinion on the topic. Non-existent.

The fact the world isn't a 24/7 porn movie set proves god isn't a man.

And the fact that clothing stores close proves god isn't a woman.

Economic Communist, Political Progressive, Social Conservative.

Unless otherwise noted source is wiki.

Im agnostic which is why I would prefer not to become involved in such hypothetical silly meaningless debates which will never achieve a correct answer.

Ok, there's definetely two allusions to 'Dogma',  which I thought was one of the most ridiculous and yet brilliant films i've ever seen.

I think the question is impossible to answer really, kinda like trying to imagine 'nothing', you're going to end up imagining yourself imagining nothing, because you  know that the nothing cannot be concieved within the scope of our 3 pound brain, as there had to be something there to create the instrument you use to attempt to imagine the nothing that you are attempting to imagine. Succinct stuff I know!
