I've seen only 1 animal fight video in my life - a female lion vs a female tiger fight staged by Japanese "scientists" - and it made me angry so I decided to never again watch something like that. Anyhow, it was a to-the-death fight & the result was quite even; both animals mortally wounded each other & died in separate corners of the cell while pausing for rest. I discourage any interest in this subject.

I agree with Cent. A male lion is built to fight, and fight often. Tigers, while large and probably more powerful, do not fight as often as lions, so I think a male lion would win in a fight.

They don't speak enough about the Kurds, because we have never taken hostages, never hijacked a plane. But I am proud of this.

I think a male lion would of won. They are much more used to fight.
They always have to protect their territory against rival male lions.

No, have you? Do you know where I could see it in internet? Tiger used to by my favorite animal...
I heard that lions tend to fight only when they are hungry or when they are threatened. When they finish the meal, the lion (male) just lay around and don't even bother to catch the rabbit that just walk pass the lion...

From my childhood until now I always doubt about power of lion over tiger. I am sure now Tiger are more powerful than lion.

The Romans brought some tigers from Asia and made them to fight against the lions. This fight was not scientific investigation, but merely an entertainment for the Roman citizens.
According to their records, tigers won more than lions in terms of statistics. But do you think that's true? Are tigers stronger than lions? Or did the Romans intentionally weakened the lions for entertainment? What do you think?
