The coat-of-arms of Portugal is the one present on the flag:
The shield has that shape since 1521, when a change was carried out during the reign of King Manuel.
The fact that the current national flag carries that coat-of-arms is somewhat of a paradox, seeing that, in good truth, the coat-of-arms of Portugal is property of the Royal Family, which is an odd thing for a country that features some pretty fanatic republicans.
Basicaly, it belongs to this guy:
His Royal Highness D. Duarte Pio, Head of the House of Bragana and King of all the Portuguese and Former Colonies inhaitants that recognize him.

Romania
It consist of medieval blasons of the historical provinces of Romanians: Wallachia (the eagle), Moldavia (the bison head), Banat (the bridge with the lion), Transylvania (the seven castres) and Dobrudja (the dolphins).
This is the 1921 coat of arms, when Romania was a monarchy:

The Coat of arms of Iceland or Skjaldarmerki slands is a cross of silver on a sky-blue shield, with a fire-red cross inside the silver cross. The shieldbearers are the four protectors of Iceland (landvttir) standing on a pahoehoe lava block. The bull (Griungur) is the protector of the southwestern Iceland, the eagle or griffin (Gammur) protects northwestern Iceland, the dragon (Dreki) the northeastern part and the Rock-giant (Bergrisi) is the protector of southeastern Iceland. Great respect was given to these creatures of Iceland, so much that there was a law in the days of the Vikings that no ship should bear grimacing symbols (most often dragonheads on the bow of the ship) when approaching Iceland. This was so the protectors would not be spooked unnecessarily.
The landvttir also decorate the obverse (front) of the Icelandic krna coins but animals of the ocean (fish, crabs and dolphins) appear on the reverse (back). The Icelandic presidency is the only one who can use an Icelandic flag with the emblem. Those flags are swallowtailed.
The shield may be blazoned, Azure, on a cross argent a cross gules.

The coat of arms of Germany is a symbol of Germany; the coat of arms feature an eagle. The colors of the coat of arms are similar to those of the flag of Germany (black, red and gold). It is the oldest extant state symbol of Europe and is one of the oldest insignia in the world. Moreover, its history as an emblem began even earlier. To the Germanic tribes, the eagle was the bird of the god Odin. The Romans reserved aquiline imagery for only the most revered beings; namely, the supreme god and the emperor; and it served as a metaphore of invincibility. Later, through its religious significance within Christendom, it became an important element of medieval symbolism.

The coat of arms of Chile is a shield that comes from the flag, with the lonely star of the Natives. The Red represent the blood lost in battle, the White is the snow of the Andes and the Blue is our sky (blue is also the sacred color of the Mapuche people). It is flanked by two crown native animals, the mighty Condor and the Huemul, a local deer. The legend say "by reason or by force"
