When I was in The United States, I met an American General in the US
Airforce during an America-wide geography conference. He told me that
had had worked in Turkey for NATO. when I asked how he found the
Turkish pilots, he told me that they were the best and got the heighest
points in the games. This made me feel safe

Just imagine if this money would be invested in national health, education/research, public infrastructure etc instead in useless heaps of metal!!!

you will notices many of the key platforms in both Greece and Turkey are very similar. Planes, frigates, tanks and the such. Our mutual paranoia is worth bucket loads for the west....... |
$$$$$ + "last word" in politics of two countries since military dependence leads to political cowardess.
The politics of the Empire in the M.East + Greek messes of the past + militarism of the military-economic complex in Turkey = tension in the Aegean.
Are the SAT the Turkish special forces?

as far as i know turkey hasny bought any systems yet, so any PAC system in turkey is a NATO sytem on loan.
"They added that Turkey and South Korea represent two potential new markets for the anti-missile system."
customers so far recognized by Raytheon
"Patriot's lower-tier air defense against tactical ballistic missiles is part of a two-tier U.S. defense against this escalating threat. Internationally, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Taiwan, and Greece field the system"
But as rathyeon expect Turkey is looking at them hard!
5/1/2007: "Lockheed Martin, the world's largest arms manufacturer, has had preliminary talks for a potential sale to Turkey of its Patriot Advanced Capability-3, (PAC-3) ballistic missile defense systems and is now waiting for Ankara's next move on the nation's air defense program, worth $1 billion, the company said on Wednesday."
