I welcome anyone who would like to post their own maps, but please just one at a time. I'll keep score. But, for right now, I'll provide one more map and hope that someone guesses the date within ten years.

yes, you're right, the northern provinces aren't in Spanish hands yet.
I change it to 1540.

Notice also the Russian Khanatess, particulary Kazan, when did they get
spanked? Around the time that St. Basils was commisioned, so IIRC, it
has to be before 1550.
1540 looks about right, or maybe 1530.

Hard to tell whether it's Austrian or Spanish since those countries has the same colours - but since Hungary was taken by the Turk in the early 1540s, and the Order broken up in the late 1550s, I think that's a pretty good guess (I of course, choose the middle value ).

It was Spanish. The Spanish Netherlands (aka Belgium, the Netherlands
were already independent) were handed over to Austria in 1713.

I won't have the time to post another map because of my school obligation. Therefore, I welcome anyone who wants to post a map to do so.
