Hi guys!

I'd like to know if you guys could help me on this project. I've been searching through etomology sites, trying to figure out which Hungarian tribe uses my last name Garai without success. I know that there is a town in southern Hungary called Gara, but that's where the information ends. Could Garai be a Khazar name? The Khazars were called Gazari which means nomad in the Turkic languages. Is it a Hun or just a regular Magyar name? Since I've come to no success over the years, I'll accept any theories. There is also a Basque Garai that has nothing to do with my name. Thanks for your time and hope you can help!
