Nobody has "pure blood" or is "pure race", also your "race" does not determine your nationhood-ethnicity.

If somebody was Black but spoke Turkish, was bought up a Turk and felt a Turk nobody can tell him/her they are not one and there are many direct examples like this in Turkey.

Azeri Turks are Turks, they have a Turkic history, speak a Turkic language and feel Turks.

Now, they are not "pure" Turks, among them there was mixing with other groups and peoples, however, the Turks being dominant in the region and the other groups being lots of small groups in time were assimilated into the Turkic majority.

The same happened in Turkey.

The groups that were large like Greeks, Armenians etc remained.

Other smaller groups and communities assimilated as Turks became the majority in their area.

This wasn't forced assimilation, it's natural assimilation, Turks didn't force them to become Turks after years of living together, mixing and blending they became one people.

Qutuz, here is an interesting one concerning Arab bro's

Her yol bağdata ıkar her dert fizana

Every road leads to Baghdad, every problem to Fizan.

Meaning; Baghdad was a lovley city, everyone liked to visit and knew about it,
Fizan is somewhere in Libya known to be the most HOTTEST place on Earth.
If you were sent there is was usually as a punishment.

The first one is :
Demiri tav*inda dgerler.
*Tav >Persian Taab, light/ heat
The other one is:
Ishleyen demir pas tutmaz
Pas means rust
Pas tutmak means Go rust.
Almost identical.

Dear barbar, unintentionally  we have made a big progress about Turkic omparison , have not we?

Karga/Kuzgun a yavrusu şahan grnr.

A baby raven is a falcon in the eyes of its mother raven.
That is:
Parents may be blind to the truth when it comes to their children.

I do not know any counterpart or equivalent for  the second one.

As I said before Turkic comparison made a big process, As a moderator in AEF can you intitiate a schematic comparison thread for such valuable info. Even many linguistic sites do not offer such a comparison opportunity you know.
