Yes, the helm found at Sutton Hoo was the best IMO. It's made with the same style relief plates but looks more like the second picture that mosquito posted. It is also probably one of the most recreated helms.

Thats cause the Saxon's imitated the late Roman Armor .
Anyway this site has a very good collection of accurate reproductions:
The armor from that aweful Troy movie belonged in TV's Hercules, its pure fantasy rubbish.
The real armor of the Bronze Age Mediterranean is perhaps my favorite and even more fantasy-like but the only thing it was in fact real and even better looking by far:

Let me put again images with Dacian helmets, which are actualy parade helmets:
Discovered at Agighiol, Dobruja (N.Musem, Bucharest)
Discovered at Poiana Cotofenesti, Wallachia (N.Musem, Bucharest)
Discovered arround Danube's Iron Gate (Detroit Institute of Arts : Permanent Collection)
Also, this fine Celtic helmet discovered in Romania (N.Musem, Bucharest):
Also, I like the Roman masks of helmets for parade (not from Romani, I found these images on some sites where these helmets are for sale):
1st cent. A.D
1st Century AD, Leiden, NL
2nd Century A.D

Here is an officer of Polish winged hussars. His armour is called a 'karacena'.

English cuirassers (sp? yeesh), and most forms of cavalry armor from
the Early modern period in Europe. Late medieval is great too.

I like the Hussite "kettle hat" helmet, which is a medieval precursor of the British World War I helmet. I also think that the Polish Hussar armor, helmet, and feathers make them look very cool. Also, the Scottish hats shown in the next two pictures are my favorite of the British Nineteenth Century regiments.

It's a common misconception that the vikings had horns on thier
helmets, I believe these first appeared in opera's by singers
portraying vikings......... regardless Vikings never had horns on thier
helmets. but I would like to agree with you and virtually everyone else
here in saying that the winged Hussars armor (particularly the hemet)
looks awesome
I am also a fan of the Roman shield known as the scutum
which I believe to have been the best all round shield of the ancient
world, as well as the helmets of saxon/viking nobles and
Byzantine armour

Aztec Jaguar Warriors, imagine how fearsome someone dressed in a complete jaguar pelt and head would like running at you with a club! Very cool armour.
