the turkish wor lan what does it mean were does it come from lan or ulan are used by turks(of turkey mostly i think) in positive friendly and negativly comfonting or even attacking.
 
example
naber lan= whats up dude(the translations might not be acurate) +
sen nedion lan= what do you mean or what are you talking about dude or punk + & -
 
ulan sen var ya ....
