What do you mean by Turks?

If you mean Turks as inhabitants of the Republic of Turkey, they are 9.99% muslims.

If you mean Turks in a more general way like Turks as a general name for a group of ethnicities like Turkomans, Azeri, Kyrgyz etc. than there are some Turkic ethnic groups which are entirely Christian, mainly Orthodox.

For example: Gagauzs, live in the Balkans and are Orthodox Chrisitans, Chuvashs, live in Russia and are Orthodox Christians, Yakuts live in Russia and are Orthodox, Dolgans a small nation of Altaic Turks are also Orthodox.

There is also a small Turkic nation in Russia, which authentic name in English I don't know for sure, but in Russian it sounds like Shorc, they are also Orthodox.

There is also an ehtnic group of Kazan Tatars, which is called Kriashens who are Orthodox Christian as well. They converted from Islam after Russia had conquered Kazan in 15th century. An interesting analogy is Balkan Muslims, who are actually Serbs who converted to Islam during the Turkish rule.

Hope it helps !

Yeah, an ethnic group of Tatar which calls itself Kriashen, though some of them claim, that its incorrect call them Tatars and they are just the direct descendants of Christian Volga Bulgars.

Another Christian group of Tatar is called Nagaibak, they are Tatar-Cossacks.

A book called Religions of the Silk Road describes the rise and fall of Christianity in Central Asia; it is actually quite fascinating. I can't seem to recall the author's name off the top of my head.

Right, but there was also a very small Christian minority.
