Hey Jazz, if you get a chance, check out my late Byzantine military thread.  We had a good discussion on representations of late Byzantine armor and whether or not they are depicted realistically in iconography.  Please contribute if you would like.  Big smile

I agree about it as well, but it is an interesting rendition...

Byz - Thanks for the invite and the PM.  Unfortunately, this time of year is my busy season (ie, Tourist season) work-wise (working 7 days/week Dead ) so I rarely get time to participate as much as I would like, but I will get to it... Big smile
