I decided to post these maps here, because personally i don`t consider Romania as a "balkanic" country.

Whats this?

Greco, that is joke which have somesimilarities with the situation of Romania between 1941-1944.

In 1940, North of Transylvania was gived up to Hungary. Bessarabia was anexed in 1940 by URSS and in 1941 was eliberated by Romanian Army. In 1944 it was again anexed, together with North of Bukovina.

The map seems to be the attempt to redraw the political frontiers in a better way, but there are many aberations, like that of including Odesa teritory into the "Romanian confederation". The creation of a people not knowing the history and realities of this part of world.

Other enormities from that site:

"The Romanian people were for long time separated by the rule of different nations. By the start of the 19th century, Muntenia was under the rule of the Ottoman Turks, while Oltenia was under Hungary rule and Moldova was part of Russia. This would however come to change, when first of all Muntenia breaks free from the Turks in 1877 and then later on during the First Great War, Oltenia and Muntenia also emerges as idependent nations."
