I think it was a joke and you didn't quite get it. The mongols were nomads, they didn't have any form of architecture.

theres Italian architecture and theres Roman architecture. Last time I
went to Rome to Italy and I looked at the architecture. it was
very different from Roman. Which is a copy or Etruscan and
Greek.
