Absolutely not, I dont think both arab  and kurds had any foot at trabzon.

one part of my family fleed from edirne(with balkan wars), I have no idea about other parts, They were most probably locals of trabzon.

I saw this program on tv about the huns, and they had this interedting thing about genetics: there is this really isloated valley in the French alps where people have a brownish fleck on the skin above their tailbones. This is a 'mongolian' spot: only Central Asian people have it apparently. The huns had stayed in this valley for some time. The valley was so isolated, that for centuries very few foreigners married there, and so, after meixing with each other for some centuries, a good 80% of children born there today has this spot.
Now these people did in no other way look anything mongolian or hunnic, just that spot.

So, even if this bump was originally Turk, how could it possibly mean anything at all after so many years? The Turk people must have mixed with others, not like this valley, but everywhere. So people with a bump might have like one Turk ancestor fivehundred years ago...

1) Not all people in turkey are mixed (at high rates)
2) Its a turkic trait because the people who have it , have one thing in common and thats their turkic ancestry.
And for your information all my ancestors are turkic

When the Huns did move to that valley didnt they mix on the way you think? Your point makes no senseTongue

wow, what's with the hostility. I was not attacking.
All peoples mix. I am not doubting your heritage, I was just wondering if this genetic trait is so dominant, how it can prove anything.

Smile Yep, a bit...
no matter. It's just I don't really believe in pure blood or anything. Always sounds a bid dodgy to me. That does not make these genetic things less true though... That bump thing is fascinating. Tongue

No one has pure blood , even the people on greenland or wherever.
But I know a good amount of people with this trait, and the only link between them is they are turkic or have somehow turkish blood. Dont understand me wrong, it can also belong to an other ethnic (Kurd, greek , armenian)  group, but not every turk with the trait has a connection with this group so it must be turkish.

I think you should not take this further away and give it a rest.I know people who have them which have nothing to do with Turkey or CA, does it make them Turk? No.It might be called Anatolian or CA whatever but obviously you can't bound it only with Turks.

I remember reading somewhere that ultra pan-turkist Nihal Atsiz didn't have one.

Without any reputable source indicating a genetic factor which would play a role in the isolation of a certain genetic "marking" this is nothing but good storytelling.
