Sun tanning

Sun tanning is becoming very popular today with younger people in western societies, but I do have some questions about it.

First off, has anyone with acne ever noticed any improvement when they tanned? It is said that it could mask the reddness, but not actually improve acne.

Also, is there any website or some information to determine your "skin type" when applied to tanning?

Does anyone here tan, mostly year round?
And finally, is there anyone who does not think that a tanned person does not look healhier than being not tanned?
