In wikipedia it said that the grandson of Iblis(the devil) was a jinn? Do muslims believe this? It also said that Satan himself was never an Angel and that he is also a jinn.

well Jins if they do exist they do have advantages over humans, i dont know much about christianity but humans are not the best creatures of God, what about Angels? arent they strong, powerfull and smart?

about the Devil

well iam not sure but this creature supposed to be ancient and wont die till day of judgment.

some say he was an angle and became the Devil when he diobyed God, other say he was a Jinn.

but then both Jins and Angles are belived to be created from the same thing. like humans and animals were made from mud.

-----

Ifrits are Jinns, but stronger and devilish i guess LOL

as i said earlier they have different sizes and abilities.

all the above is from Religiouse point of view.

Ah, I don't at least. I don't think the devil can have a son.

I think Satan is a jinn in more or less the same way we are an animal.

Christians thinking of humanity too highly?
Maybe we differ on this subject but it seems to me that God has created us in his image. Are we not to honor something created in God's image. No matter how you interperate that "image", be it physically or spiritually or both.
We as humans are the children of God, the angels are there to serve God.
Do you think angels and humans are the same thing?
