Hey guys. I'm new here; a quick search on Google for history communities and this came up.

Basically, I'm looking for a good book about US Civil War General Robert E. Lee (not the author ). I'd be interested in more than simply a biography on his entire life (unless there is an exceptional one worth reading), but a book targetted on his war experiences and/or a book that focuses on one specific detail on Lee. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The Generals : Ulysses S. Grant & Robert E. Lee
 
but if you want the definitive work go to the following link it was written by DS Freeman.and he was to Lee what Chandler was to Napoleon.....it's all there on line ....4 vols of an epic.....have fun.
