I think it is as: "In peace, sons bury their fathers. In war, fathers bury their sons."

And it wasn't said by Julius Caesar in any way.
I would guess Virgilius but Yahoo! search says:
Herodotus "In peace, sons bury their fathers. In war, fathers bury their sons." (Greek historian: called the Father of History; 484?425? B.C)

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. - Albert Einstein The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working the moment you get up in the morning and does not stop until you get into the office. - Robert Frost The trouble with being punctual is that nobody's there to appreciate it. - Franklin P. Jones We must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of those we don't like? - Jean Cocturan It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose. - Darrin Weinberg

Some from unknowns:
Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome.
Help a man when he is in trouble and he will remember you when he is in trouble again. Complex problems have simple, easy to understand wrong answers. It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving. Whoever said money can't buy happiness, didn't know where to shop. Alcohol doesn't solve any problems, but then again, neither does milk. Most people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them. Forgive your enemies but remember their names. The number of people watching you is directly proportional to the stupidity of your action.
Dont worry that the world ends today, its already tomorrow in Australia!

Very very good ones Gharanai
Here is wath Louis XVI wrote the 14th of July 1789 in his diary while the
Parisians were attacking the Bastille:
"Today: nothing"
Another his wife, the queen Marie-Antoinette wondered:
"What do they want?
- They want bread, your majesty.
- They don't have bread? Why don't they bake cakes?"
Bye.

I was beaten many times by fools this way, I have to admit..

"The ink of the scholar is more holy than the blood of the martyr." Muhammed (saaws)
"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us. "
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart."
"Science may have found a cure for most evils; but it has found no remedy for the worst of them all - the apathy of human beings." Helen Keller
"It was but yesterday I thought myself a fragment quivering without rhythm in the sphere of life. Now I know that I am the sphere, and all life in rhythmic fragments moves within me." Kahlil Gibran
The cinema is not an art which films life: the cinema is something between art and life. Unlike painting and literature, the cinema both gives to life and takes from it, and I try to render this concept in my films. Literature and painting both exist as art from the very start; the cinema doesn't. Jean-Luc Godard
An actor is never so great as when he reminds you of an animal; falling like a cat, lying like a dog, moving like a fox. Franois Truffaut

That isn't a great quote, nor is the quotet intelligent. Anne Coulter is known to be an extreme conservative, that may be crazy becfause of the stupid things that she usually says.

I know. I don't get why people think Helen Keller is so great. I mean, yeah, she overcame her problem, but she did not do much else for the world.

This quote made me think about a quote from Antoine de Saint Exupry, writer of 'The little Prince'. He said :'It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.' Maybe Keller got her inspiration there...
