The sect of Amish I think your speaking of is gone, long gone.  Things have quietly changed in most Amish communities.  It's not unusual to see an Amishman in traditional hat and plain clothing, wearing ReeboksBig smile.

Sark Island in the Channel Islands is/was considered the last feudatory in Western Europe.  The hereditary feudal lord, the Seigneur of Sark (or Dame of Sark if a woman), holds his position in the traditional feudal custom from the Duke of Normandy, Elizabeth II. Until 2008 the Seigneur of Sark held constitutional authority in Sark law, and remains influential today, and sits in the Chief Pleas, or parliament. The Chief Pleas is lead by a Seneschal, formerly appointed by the Seigneur.

What about remote islands in the Scottish highlands? The people of St Kilda followed the old ways until they were evacuated in the 1930s

Yes the people in some of the highlands live in the old ways, these tend to be crofters who are tennants of a croft, which is a little cottage or even a hut in some circumstances where the crofter runs a small amount of land for animals, vegetables etc and gets their water from a well. Crofts only exist in the highlands and islands of Scotland, and is a very old form of land mannagement. I'm not aware of any medieval-like communities there, but crofters can live a very traditional lifestyle. It would be interesting to see if there are any communities of crofters, but as fas as I know the only community the have is online groups/forums!
