All right folks, this shall be our own AE Music Video Page. Feel free to link us to your favorite Music Videos. Here are some guidelines though:1. All videos must be no more than PG-13 (in other words, no nudity!)2. The more the video is related to history, the better! The best ones are those with historical imagery or express some historical thought.

Aprendimos a quererte
Desde la historica altura
Donde el sol de tu bravura
Le puso un cerco a la muerte
Aqu se queda la clara
La entraable transparencia
De tu querida presencia
Comandante Che Guevara
Vienes quemando la brisa
Con soles de primavera
Para plantar la bandera
Con la luz de tu sonrisa
Aqu se queda la clara
La entraable transparencia
De tu querida presencia
Comandante Che Guevara
Como revolucionario
Que conduca nueva empresa
Donde espera la firmesa
De tu brazo libertario
Aqu se queda la clara
La entraable transparencia
De tu querida presencia
Comandante Che Guevara
(hablado)
Seguiremos adelante
Como junto a t seguimos
Y con Fidel te decimos
Hasta siempre Comandante
Aqu se queda la clara
La entraable transparencia
De tu querida presencia
Comandante Che Guevara

ya no prar ms".

A beautiful video shot in and around Sarajevo's Vrelo Bosne Park and Gazi Husref-bey Mosque:
Burhan Saban - Kisna dova
Sanela Sijercic, unimaginably beautiful from the neck down -
strikingly the opposite from the neck up... I believe this video is
filmed in Turkey.
Sanela Sijercic - Otrov zmije
This is what happens when award-winning belly dancers are forced to
dance to their own techno music while lip-syncing for an audience of 6
at the HAYAT television studios... it's painful to watch but really
quite nice if you pause it.
Selma Bajrami - Tijelo uz tijelo

A politically charged one. Emir Kusturica converted to Eastern
Orthodoxy during the war and declared himself a Serb, but Bosnians
didn't really care because he was a Serb - his family converted to
Islam only a few generations ago. But Fahreta Jahic, on the other hand,
better known as Lepa Brena, really annoyed Bosniaks when she did it.
Jahic, like most Bosniaks, has a Bosnian and Croatian heritage and her
family can be traced all the way back to Dubrovnik in the 1300s.
But she's always been a kind of opportunist so people accepted it after
a while, she still gets good crowds for her concerts back home in
Bosnia. But people still enjoy her best her old music - the kind she
sang not in a Serbian accent and was about Bosnia and Herzegovina.
So here's my dedication to the Fahreta Jahic that was... LOL

Three songs by E-Nomine, the German Techno monks.
Only if you like Techno with Gregorian chants wailing in the background.
Hilarious!
Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun)
Das Omen

Kemal Monteno and friends - Stari
I was born long time ago, my brother, I've never moved from this city, But I saw too much people, They came to me to touch me.
The first leg step on me, The whole city toasted me, The first "leaf" jumped from me, My creator died.
Under me, cold water nips, But my cold stone will flame up, In it everybody hardly waits, To lie down on me, to step on me.
I, hit, didn't die, or fall, I just had to jump down, I'll continue exactly where I stopped, "The Old" will rise again for those who love him.

SO COOL!
My friends and I love this song! Haha,
A Wikipedia article states that she converted to Orthodoxy, and changed her name to Jelena. I don't believe it though. She is Muslim, and that's it. Most Serbs I know dislike her for the fact, that she is "too muslim"! And with a name like Fahreta, she couldn't be Serbian if she tried! So I guess no one really likes her....Except for me!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=EYmiaQ1ljMg&search=Lepa%20bre na
She has always had that Ekavik accent though, unlike the Bosnian Serbs who only recently have adopted it... *cough* Seka Aleksic, Mile Kitic, Milos Bojanic, Sasa Matic *cough*

Well, yes - she's always said uvek instead of uvijek and
dropped her i's and j's wherever possible but she's from Brcko -
ekavian has been the dominant accent in that city since the end
of WWI, even in the 1960s when it was majority Bosniak-
populated.
But she still had a Bosnian accent. The Serbian language with
some Turkish words and a Bosnian accent - as opposed to
normal Bosnian, which is the Croatian language with some
Turkish words and a Bosnian accent.
Anyhow, I think she's crazy. She gave her kids Christian
names, they're always getting beaten up at school. The Serbian
public hates her - the only ones who truly like her are the
former Yugoslavs, like yourself, and they're not exactly fond of
her declaring herself Serbian they just don't hate her for it.
So she gambled and lost and really f--ked herself over. But I'm
glad the Serbian nationalists didn't accept her. You see it even
on this forum: You're just Islamicized Serbs. Well, a--holes -
Fahreta Jahic agreed, converted to Christianity, changed her
name, moved to Serbia, gave her kids Christian names, and
you STILL hate her so don't b-tch at us like there's anything we
can do to quench your hatred.

She moved to Serbia long before the war, and the reason she gave her children Christian names, is because her husband is Christian - which is very common amongst mixed marriages (Children usually take on more of their fathers religion, and traditions..obviously won't be the case for your children )... I also never saw any proof that she converted to Christianity! when? Where? Anyways, I think your just angry she didn't wrap herself around the Bosniak flag, and sing "Allah, Allah defend Bosnia" during the war... Hahaha
For me, it's not that I like her music, or her, personally. She is just interesting to me.. I mean, look at some of her greatest hits: Mile voli Disko, Sanjam, Udri Mujo... She sings the five same lyrics over, and over again in her songs! But yet, as much as everyone may hate her... She still will get sold out concerts not only in the former Yugoslavia, but amongst the Diaspora all around the world!
Anyways, let's get back to the topic!
Hari Mata Hari - Kad Jesen Zamuti

One of my favourite songs! With Sarajevo in the backround, the video is just perfect!

Second in a series of clips by weird and wonderful German bands.
Corvus Corax, "Rammstein go Medieval", and their rendition of the famous Carmina Burana, a collection of medieval songs.

Another video from Kozarac, Nena's village. This was filmed at a
wedding (svadba) so it's an interesting look at drunk, dancing Bosniak
villagers. The young girls are obviously living and working in Bihac or
Prijedor, they're not stylish enough to be from a major city and too
stylish to have not lived outside of Kozarac...
